Universal/Regular Point Needles
Best for woven fabrics such as cotton and linen. Ideal for general sewing and many Waldorf doll making tasks.

Ball Point Needles (90/14)
Designed for knit fabrics. The rounded tip slips between fibres rather than piercing them, helping prevent damage to stretchy materials like doll skin fabrics.

Helpful Tip

If you’re unsure, a universal 80/11 is a great all-purpose choice for most doll making projects. Switch to ball point when working with stretch fabrics such as doll skin fabric.
